"MOBILE TECHNOPARK" MASTERCLASS MARATHON – THE FIRST EVENT IN THE FIELD OF DIGITALIZATION

On September 18, 2024, the M. Kh. Dulaty University of Taraz, in collaboration with the Corporate Client Relations Department and the "Kvantorium" Children’s Technopark of the Republic of Tatarstan, organized the "Mobile Technopark" masterclass marathon at the M. Ürkimbayev Youth Palace in Taraz, within the framework of a memorandum of cooperation.

The aim of the marathon was to engage students and high school students from Taraz in interactive masterclasses on modern technology topics, to foster further study and invention of technological innovations, and to introduce high-tech equipment aimed at preparing a new generation of highly skilled engineers. The event also focused on developing and testing innovative technologies and ideas, increasing the number of high school graduates wishing to continue their education in technical sciences, and raising awareness and interest in IT sciences through the promotion of the scientific and technical community's achievements.

The event was attended by students from M. Kh. Dulaty University and high school students from Taraz's Gymnasiums №7, №40, and №41.

After the presentation of the "Kvantorium" Technopark, all participating students and schoolchildren engaged in eight thematic workshops, which included the following topics:

  • Space Technology – Introduction to the basics of astronautics and the design of small Earth artificial satellites.
  • Neurotechnology – Studying and collecting biosignals from the human face, programming, and neuro-piloting.
  • Aero Modeling – Introduction to designing and building multirotors, along with practical skills in controlling unmanned aerial vehicles.
  • Geoinformatics – Introduction to geographic modeling and data visualization with the ArcGIS Online platform tools for online maps.
  • Robotics – Introduction to designing, assembling, and programming robots.
  • Digital Design – Introduction to the basics of digital industrial design.
  • VR/AR Technologies – Introduction to software Unity for developing AR applications for mobile devices.
  • 3D Modeling – Introduction to polygonal modeling environments and creating 3D models and computer graphics in Blender.

All the participants showed great interest in the workshops and engaged actively, trying their hands at modeling, drone control, robot assembly, and building artificial satellites. As a result, the participants of the event expressed that it was extremely beneficial, sharing positive feedback and expressing a desire to participate in similar projects in the future.
