In November, young teachers of the Department of "Practical Foreign Languages" A. B. Zaurbek and A. S. Kalymbet held an open lesson with 1st year students on the topic "No time for anything" and "Superlative cities". In an open lesson, students were introduced to the most colorful cities in Europe, including a comparative and superlative degree of comparison of English adjectives. Various interactive exercises were also used; the lesson was conducted at a mixed methodological level, using interactive whiteboard technology, presentation technology, group or individual work methods. During the lesson, students developed listening, speaking and vocabulary skills, and improved socio-cultural competencies. Creative tasks and group work increased the involvement of students and allowed them to put knowledge into practice. Thus, the methodological skills of young teachers of the department are being improved.
