December 16 - Independence Day of Kazakhstan
On December 2, 2024, a literary and musical evening titled "Tәuelsіzdіk Tұғyrym!" ("The Foundation of Independence!") was held, featuring students from the educational programs "Teacher Training in Basic Military Training" and "Teacher Training in Music Education". The event was organized by Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Russian Language and Literature at M.Kh. Dulaty Taraz University, L.N. Ibraimova.
Purpose of the Educational Event:
To instill in young people a respectful attitude towards the historical past and traditions of the peoples of our country, to foster a sense of patriotism, love for the Motherland, pride in the historical past, and optimism for the bright future of Kazakhstan.
Independence is a measure of growth in various developmental indicators of any state in fields such as education, science, economy, culture, and other areas.
On December 16, the Republic of Kazakhstan celebrates its national holiday, Independence Day. The Law on Independence and State Sovereignty of the Republic of Kazakhstan was adopted on December 16, 1991. This year, Kazakhstan will celebrate the 33rd anniversary of its Independence.
December 16 is a historically significant holiday. Independence embodies the national values of the people, the history, and the language of the nation.
Today, in the context of democratization and humanization of public life, there is a growing need to enhance spiritual culture, which defines national identity.
The youth of the country is the key to a bright future.
The literary and musical evening was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Basic Military Training, M. Nurpeisov; the Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Social Sciences, A.N. Turarova; labor veterans; and university professors. The audience enjoyed a concert program prepared by talented students.
