O department The department implements modern educational programs of bachelor's and master's degrees and prepares competitive IT-specialists in demand in the labor market. Purpose: Preparation of highly professional, competitive, creative and patriotic specialists who meet modern world requirements. Purpose: Improvement of the educational process: Bringing the educational process to international standards; Adaptation of educational programs to the requirements of the labor market; Use of modern pedagogical technologies to improve the quality of education. Creating a quality educational environment: Development of material and technical base, necessary for raising the level of knowledge of students; Wide use of electronic educational resources; Compliance with the principles of academic integrity. Development of research activities: Expansion of participation of teachers and students in research work; Attracting them to participate in scientific projects and grant programs; Support for the publication of scientific results in international and domestic publications. Introduction of innovative technologies: Effective use of digital educational resources; Introduction of new teaching methods and technologies; Application of artificial intelligence and intellectual technologies in the educational process. Increasing professional competence: Strengthening of production practice for improvement of students' practical skills; Establishing partnership relations with leading enterprises; Stimulation of demand for graduates in the labor market. Strengthening educational work and civic values: Formation of students' respect for national spiritual values; Development of feelings of patriotism, humanism and responsibility; Promotion of active participation in social projects and public events. The main tasks of raising the level of education of students are: • provision of qualitative theoretical knowledge and practical skills; • mastering modern programming languages and technologies; • development of software development and implementation skills; • increasing competence in the field of artificial intelligence, big data, cloud and mobile technologies; • adaptation to research activities, innovative projects and international cooperation. Graduates of the department successfully work in the spheres of education, science, production and business, contributing to the digital development of our country. The department defines its main priority as constant development, introduction of innovations and improvement of the quality of education. Model graduate Tasks of the graduate: 1. Learning the curriculum: o Complete and high-quality mastering of programs in all subjects of the curriculum. 2. Mastery of various activities: o Ability to carry out work, study, play, cognitive activities; o Mastering the main tools and methods of activity: planning, design, modeling, forecasting, research. 3. Mastery of basic competencies: o Cognitive competence: mastery of methods of obtaining knowledge from various sources of information, development of independent learning and research skills. o Civic and social competence: fulfillment of civic duties, conscious fulfillment of one's role as a voter and consumer, active participation in society. o Socio-labor competence: the ability to analyze the situation on the labor market, evaluate one's professional opportunities, maintain the culture and ethics of professional communication, improve self-organization skills, use social experience. o Domestic competence: maintaining health, adapting to family life, respecting elders and maintaining a culture of social relations. o Cultural and leisure competence: effective use of free time, organization of activities that contribute to cultural and spiritual development. Conclusion: Forming a model of a competent graduate is one of the main tasks of the education system. To achieve this goal, the necessary conditions are created in the educational process and new quality educational results are provided that meet the modern requirements of society and culture. As a result, a competent, comprehensively developed personality is formed.

A branch of the Department was created on the basis of Kazphosphate LLP. The creation of a branch of the Department contributes to the improvement of the OP, taking into account the needs of the labor market of the Zhambyl region and with the real requests of employers.
For higher practical training and obtaining professional skills of students, the Department of Piip works in close cooperation with Kazphosphate LLP, conducts training sessions in special disciplines with field trips to production.
The Department has close cooperation with SEC "Birlik Tuymekent", LLP " TAMSA LLP "iQYZMET", Sberbank, KSU. Arabaeva, where students exchange, exchange of experience in teaching programming in C+, Python, SCADA TRACE MODE, Project Expert, Java.
Branches of the Department in production is an educational and scientific division of the Department. The work of the branch is carried out on the basis of the organization, the staff of the branch is formed from the number of employees of the Department and the organization. According to PSP 11/12. 03-2017 "Regulations on the Department's branch", classes held at branches are mandatory in the University's schedule of classes. In addition, training is successfully combined with extracurricular work and industrial practice, and branches of departments are actively used for conducting classes in production. For example, at the branch of the Department in Kazphosphate LLP, classes are held in the 3rd year in the disciplines "Fundamentals of computer modeling of chemical and technological processes". Classes are taught by both teachers of the Department and specialists from the enterprise.
The Graduate must:
- Successfully master all programs in the disciplines of the curriculum.
- Master the types of activities in various life situations: labor, educational, gaming, cognitive, as well as the means and methods of activity: planning, designing, modeling, forecasting, research.
- Master key competencies:
- competence in the field of independent cognitive activity based on the assimilation of ways to acquire knowledge from various sources of information;
- competence in the field of civil and social activities (performing the roles of a citizen, voter, consumer);
- competence in the field of social and labor activity (including the ability to analyze the situation on the labor market, evaluate their own professional capabilities, navigate the norms and ethics of relationships, self-organization skills, use of social experience);
- competence in the domestic sphere (including aspects of one's own health, family life, attitude to elders, etc.);
- competence in the field of cultural and leisure activities (including the choice of ways and means of using free time, culturally and spiritually enriching the individual).
Thus, creating a model of a competent graduate and providing appropriate conditions for achieving results are specific tasks, the implementation of which will ensure a new result of education that is adequate to the current state of society and culture – the formation of a competent personality.
