  • What are the Application Requirements of the Mevlana Exchange Programme

In order to apply for the Mevlana Exchange Programme a student must be studying on an associate degree, bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or PhD higher education programme. To qualify for participation the Grade Point Average (GPA) of associate degree students and undergraduate students must be at least 2.5 on a four point scale. The GPA of graduate students (MA, PhD) must be at least 3.0 on a four point scale. Knowledge of Turkish language is obligatory. For the participation of academic staff it is necessary to know English.

  • How should a student who meets the requirements apply to the Mevlana Exchange Programme?

Applications should be made to the department of Bologna process and academic mobility by filling out the required forms correctly.

  • What time limits are there on participation in the Mevlana Exchange Programme?

Students may study abroad for a minimum of one, up to a maximum of two semesters. The duration of the semester periods may be different taking into account of differences in the education systems of the countries involved, but the total exchange period must not exceed one academic year. Academic staff members may also participate in the Mevlana Exchange Programme, and may lecture abroad from a minimum of one week up to a maximum of three months.
