Today, a ceremonial diploma awarding event was held in the city of Taraz for graduates of the network educational program implemented by Mendeleev University and Dulaty University, with the support of the industrial partner, Kazphosphate LLP.

Seven female students became the first graduates of the joint program and received two diplomas — from Dulaty University and from Mendeleev University. This important milestone marked the first tangible result of the strategic partnership between the two universities and the industrial partner, aimed at training competitive engineering specialists for the chemical industry.

The program was developed and implemented in stages with the active involvement of Dulaty University. At the initial stage, a representative office of Mendeleev University was established on the basis of Dulaty University, enabling the launch of the network-based learning format. Since September 2024, the Mendeleev University Branch in Taraz has been operating, becoming an important platform for the development of international educational cooperation and academic mobility.

The network program included one academic year of study at the main campus of Mendeleev University in Moscow, ensuring the integration of international educational standards and a strong practice-oriented approach to specialist training. All graduates of the program are currently employed at Kazphosphate LLP enterprises, confirming the effectiveness of the model and its alignment with the needs of the real sector of the economy.

The ceremonial event was attended by representatives of government bodies, the academic community, and the industrial partner. Congratulatory remarks were delivered by Mukash Iskandirov, Member of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Mendeleev University Branch in Taraz; Zhusipbek Suleimenov, Advisor to the President of Sh. Murtaza International Taraz University; Sholpan Yessimova, Member of the Management Board and Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Internationalization of Dulaty University; and Kairat Bolatov, Director for Human Resources at Kazphosphate LLP.
