The management and staff of M.H. Dulaty Taraz University held an extended online meeting with Sergey Khristolyubov, Regional Director of the international rating agency QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) for Central Asia and Eastern Europe.

During the meeting, a representative of QS agency shared relevant mechanisms for improving results of international rankings and outlined key areas that contribute to strengthening the university's international reputation. In particular, the issues of expanding cooperation with foreign partners, developing international projects, as well as promoting the achievements of students, graduates and teachers at the global level were discussed. In turn, Lazzat Yerkinbayeva, the Chairman of the Management Board and Rector of the University, presented the university's new initiatives in the fields of education, science and international cooperation. The Rector also spoke about strategic plans aimed at increasing the competitiveness of the university and strengthening its position in the global educational space.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to improving the quality of research, strengthening publication activity and citation indicators, as well as building effective cooperation with the academic community and international experts.

The recommendations and expert opinions voiced after the meeting will become the basis for further improvements of the indicators of Dulaty University in the international rankings. They will bring the university to a new level of strategic development.
