Mission of the department
In 1958, it was reorganized into the Zhambyl Technological Institute of light and food industry, founded in 1963 on the basis of the Department "technology for storage and processing of grain products" in the branch of the Kazakh chemical and Technological Institute. At the departments" storage and processing of grain products "and" technology of Bakery and pasta products", specialists were trained and trained in the processing (storage and processing of grain products) and food industries (bread factories, confectionery factories).
