As part of Germany’s SES (Senior Expert Service) international program, Dulaty University welcomed expert Ursula Georgy. The SES expert has many years of teaching experience at universities in Germany and abroad, including Austria, Malaysia, Italy, Switzerland, Brazil, Chile, Indonesia, Portugal, Syria, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. She possesses extensive practical experience in information and quality management in higher education institutions, the evaluation and development of information services, as well as in managing educational processes using active learning methods and modern technologies, including artificial intelligence.
Ursula Georgy is highly knowledgeable in areas such as higher education management, information management, strategic marketing, quality management, development of strategic concepts in research, professional development planning, trend and innovation management, internal and external communications profiling, and branding processes. Additionally, she is an expert in consumer resource management, agile management methods, industrial property protection, internationalization and programming, and is a qualified specialist in international accreditation.
On April 8–9, Ursula Georgy met with staff from the Strategic Development Department to discuss issues related to strategy, rankings, accreditation, and quality assurance. She also shared practical recommendations for their improvement.
On the second day of the visit, in accordance with the program, she conducted a seminar. During the seminar, she outlined the stages of the educational program and annual quality review cycles, as well as addressing needs and tasks spanning from the concept of the thesis project to the graduate profile. While describing typical processes in professional practice, she shared her insights regarding learning outcomes, content, and assessment of individual modules. Special attention was given to the quality assurance system, particularly in the context of institutional accreditation, and she offered her perspectives on the evaluation of educational programs.
