Key Action 1 – International Credit Mobility

Key Action 1 – International Credit Mobility

The well-known Erasmus program is now available to universities, students, and academic staff from non-European countries. Erasmus+ funds credit mobility, i.e., bilateral student mobility for a period of 3 to 12 months.

A mandatory requirement is that the credits earned at the host institution must be recognized and transferred by the home university.

European citizens have the opportunity to choose to study or teach at higher education institutions in any country in the world, while non-European students and academic staff can study, teach, and undertake training in Europe. This provides opportunities for learning, teaching, and professional development in European countries and beyond for representatives of all sectors of education and training.

Academic staff are regarded as agents of change within their home institutions.
