CESS Regional Conference 2026

From June 16 to 19, 2026, the CESS Regional Conference 2026, one of the most prestigious international academic platforms dedicated to Central Eurasian Studies, is being held at Nazarbayev University in Astana, Kazakhstan. The theme of this year’s conference is “(Re)thinking Central Eurasia: Spaces, Societies, and Power.”

The conference brings together researchers, doctoral students, and early-career scholars from various countries around the world. The program includes plenary sessions, thematic sections, panel discussions, and special venues for presenting research findings on political, social, cultural, and historical processes in the Central Eurasian region.

A.M. Yessenbayeva, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation Studies at M.H. Dulaty Taraz University, is actively participating in the international conference and presenting her research to the international academic community.
