Open curatorial (advisory) hour of the Master’s students of the Department of Russian Language and Literature.

Master’s students of the Department of Russian Language and Literature of our faculty — Yulia Skachkova, Ksenia Shamray, and Aisulu Alim — held an open curatorial (advisory) hour.

Yulia Skachkova conducted a curatorial hour on the topic “Analytical Thinking as a Universal Skill of the Modern Student”. She spoke about how to work with information effectively and how to apply methods of critical analysis.

Ksenia Shamray conducted a curatorial hour on the topic «The Linguistic Portrait of a Character in Fiction». The participants examined how a character’s personality is revealed through speech, vocabulary, intonation, and stylistic features.

They also discussed what a character’s linguistic portrait is and which language means shape and develop the character’s image.

Alim Aisulu conducted a curatorial hour on the topic «Information Analysis Skills in Academic Studies and Everyday Life». The students discussed common mistakes in data perception and the application of analytical skills in everyday situations.
