According to employers, The educational program is focused on training specialists who possess the necessary knowledge in the field of education. the preparation of a highly qualified physics and computer science teacher with English language knowledge, with high social and civiс responsibility, able to carry out professional activities in the following areas: education and comprehensive formation of thestudent’s personality development; the formation of students systematized knowledge in the field of physics and computer science; organization of the educational process in the classes on physics and computer science at the modern level; implementation of scientific research, projects, including use of modern information and communication technologies.
Purpose
The main purpose of the Department of Physics and Informatics is to train competitive specialists who are prepared for professional activities in scientific and educational fields. Accordingly, the mission of the educational programs is aimed at meeting the needs of society and the state for human and scientific resources of a new generation in the field of information and communication technologies, as well as providing sustainable support for the stable development of Kazakhstan’s innovative economy, which encompasses the internal systems of education and science.
Educational programs are developed in accordance with modern labor market requirements for specialists. According to employers, the educational programs are focused on training professionals who possess the necessary knowledge and competencies in the field of education.
In addition, the department provides training for highly qualified teachers of physics and informatics who are proficient in English, possess high social and civic responsibility, and are capable of carrying out professional activities in the following areas: educating and shaping a comprehensively developed personality of students; forming systematized knowledge in physics and informatics among learners; organizing the teaching and learning process in physics and informatics at a modern level; conducting scientific research and projects, including those using modern information and communication technologies.
The Department of Physics and Informatics includes educational laboratories such as “Mechanics,” “Molecular Physics,” “Optics,” “Atomic and Nuclear Physics,” and “Radio Electronics,” as well as the educational and production workshop “Technology of School Experiments.” These facilities are equipped with modern equipment in accordance with current requirements. Textbooks and teaching aids necessary for laboratory work are sufficiently available in the university library and are provided in multiple copies in the reading room.
